* Lolita : I wanted to get back to some of the classics I missed out on and a couple of months ago (in my Poets and Writers Mag) I saw that it was the 50th anniversary of Nabakov's Lolita. I decided it was time to give it a shot. It was a difficult read for me - but well worth it. The images crafted in the text are vivid and dripping with emotional context.
* The Glass Castle : This book was given to me by my sister for christmas, its a great memoir. Its especially great if you come from a dysfunctional family like I do. :)
* Croked Little Vein: By Warren Ellis, who is normally a graphic novelist. Its an incredibly fun read. Gross and foul and a good time all around.
