bored :) not related to poems whatsoever....

First time I took "Which classic movie are you" I got this as my answer...

second time I got this.....

how does that happen? :) Is it just me?

infection

your rectitude
stays
comfortably nestled
next to your ego
or the space you fill
with your lack of reasons
i remind myself daily
with all the knowledge
i can lay my hands upon

your splendor
exists
only in your mind
and mine
i wash it out daily with salt water
and a moderate dose of reality

until the day comes
when i exercise you out
with my sly smile
look upon you and laugh
with all the splendor you lost
or all the splendor my life has become
without you in it

Henry Asencio - Unveiling

All the pieces of her life
invisible graffiti on the wall before her
insatiable bits of karma
dismantled by her inquisitive self.

Seemingly unrelated events and characters
loosely basted together in a patchwork quilt of life
threads of misunderstanding and misinterpretation
slowly unraveling - coming undone.

Cocking her head to listen to
the deafening silent dialog between them
she realizes it is actually quite loquacious
saying so much more than words could ever say.

Her wrists bend like delicate flower stems
as she diligently reconstructs scenarios
with mechanical expertise
a lost soul in a whirlpool of puzzle pieces......

......Desperately trying to make sense of her fragmented life.
