and letters
float to the front of my mind
like whispers
conveyed
and faded
on the wind
letters
baring our souls
to the computer screen
in the early morning hours
while the world slept
baring our souls
through a buffer
'cause its easier
than face to face
through a buffer
so I didn't have to hide my excitement
at your name
so I didn't have to hide my excitement
at your voice
speaking mine

So this is my 100th post to this blog. (Not quite at 100 poems yet due to one or two posts being completly random and off topic.) But I just wanted to drop a little note to all of you who come back and read my little site now and again. So far this has allowed be to share parts of myself that 2 years ago I never whould have thought to share let alone post on the internet. Thank-you, truly, for the kind comments, the support, and for coming back.
:)
Notice that the second line in each stanza is the first line in the stanza following it.
I'm not sure if that's a specific type of poem or if I just made it up - but its harder than it looks :)
Thank You for sharing sometimes random and off topic can be good.
:-)
