you reside
where relaxation abides
by no rule or interruption
the calm felt
when wrapped in your arms
and you

entangled

peace found me
in deep deep slumber
and in the lazy smile
on your lips
tranquility drifted
down upon us
like snow

like silence

and you exist
in a world
rife
with challenge
that you weather
with a wink
and a song
your laughter
like a soft rolling thunder

you looked at me then
unspoken words across
your skin
and with content filled sighs
i read them
and watched
in wonder
blithe to be
a leading lady
in the land
of romeo and snow
